Urban Agenda for the EU

MigrationWork is facilitating a three-day Urban Academy on Integration. The initiative brings together cities, EU member states and the European Commission to jointly develop and put in place actions to foster the integration of migrants and refugees.

Firewalling to protect

Open Society Foundation

MigrationWork CIC was commissioned by the Open Society Foundation to organize and facilitate a round table in May 2017 and produce a report on “Firewalling to Protect”. The Foundation is concerned about the human rights implications of demands from immigration enforcement agencies for access to material held and people served by statutory and voluntary organisations.

SHARE II – Cities that Care, Cities that Share

International Catholic Migration Commission

This learning exchange, managed jointly by ICMC and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, aimed to develop the EU Resettlement network of cities, municipalities, regions and other local bodies involved in, or committed to the resettlement, protection and integration of refugees.



EU Eurocities Network

MigrationWork CIC played a key role as a partner with EUROCITIES and 14 major cities of Europe in this innovative project, funded by the European Commission up to May 2014.

IMPART: Increasing the Participation of Migrants & Ethnic Minorities in Employment

Berlin Senat / German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs

An EU-wide project across seven countries, which uses peer review visits to projects promoting the employment of migrants to find out what increases the chances of them having long-term impact and how EU resources can be used more effectively.

MIXITIES – Integrating Cities

MIXITIES: Making integration work in Europe’s cities

EU Eurocities Network

Funded by the European Commission and led by Eurocities, this project is designed to promote migrant integration in 16 European cities. MigrationWork is a full project partner, developing benchmarks and leading peer reviews on Anti-Discrimination and Introductory and Language Courses.
