Nancy Kiousi

Professional background

Nancy has a Masters degree in human rights from the School for Advanced Study, University of London. She has worked in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for human rights protection and humanitarian response. She has worked in international projects supporting at risk human rights defenders and also supported projects as a consultant. She has been part of humanitarian operations in the refugee crises in Greece since 2016.

Areas of expertise

Nancy has strong skills in communication, research, M&E reporting, fundraising as well as significant experience in building inter-agency cooperation, designing and overseeing Shelter and NFI interventions and CCCM.

Professional achievements:

• Written and published several reports on human rights issues
• Given talks about the economic reforms in Greece and the human rights situation in the West Bank, Palestine.
• Part of an inter-agency working group that aimed to make vital information for asylum seekers more coherent and accessible; consolidated information and created a series of communications materials for refugees and organisations in northern Greece.
