IncluCities: Building Inclusive Cities with Migrants

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR)

The INCLUCITIES project aims to improve the integration of migrants and refugees in small and medium-sized cities through city-to-city mentoring. Eight cities, with varying degrees of integration-related experience, and eight national associations of local and regional government participate in the project, led by CEMR and funded by the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

VALUES: Volunteering Activities to Leverage Urban and European Social integration of migrants

VALUES utilised peer-to-peer knowledge exchange between 16 European cities, grouped into 4 thematic clusters, to build the capacity of city officials and volunteer organisations to facilitate migrant integration.

MiFriendly Cities

Urban Innovative Actions

The MiFriendly Cities project in the West Midlands has been awarded EU funding to test new and unproven solutions to address urban challenges. MigrationWork’s role is to help migrants and refugees to devise and develop grassroots initiatives in areas where they have identified greatest need: employment, housing, health care and active citizenship.
